This miniature terrarium kit contains everything needed to create a living forest floor inside a round glass mossarium with a natural cork lid. Build the drainage and soil layers, arrange the fresh feather moss, add the smooth zen pebble and give everything a gentle mist.
Feather moss has a looser, leafier character than rounded bun moss. Its finely branched fronds spread across the soil to create a lush, naturally untamed landscape—perfect if you prefer the look of a miniature woodland rather than a single sculptural mound.

The mossarium measures approximately 10 cm wide × 11 cm high: compact enough for a desk, shelf or bedside table, but large enough to create a satisfying little landscape.

KEEPING YOUR MOSS HAPPY
Place your finished mossarium somewhere cool with bright, indirect light and away from hot direct sunshine or radiators. The cork lid helps retain humidity, so daily watering should not be necessary.
Check the moss and soil occasionally and mist lightly when they begin to look dry. Damp is good; waterlogged isn’t. If heavy condensation persists, remove the cork temporarily to let some excess moisture escape. Rainwater or distilled water is ideal where possible.

Every piece of moss is genuinely living and naturally different. Variations in shape, texture and shade are part of its character, and you may occasionally find tiny pieces of leaf, bark or other woodland material amongst it.
